The serene setting situated in the Hout Bay Valley is a perfect spot to escape the hustle-bustle of city life or to enjoy some quality time with loved ones. Waterland, spanning 2.5 acres, is a family-friendly environment with plenty of space for fun-filled activities. Nature lovers will feel right at home among the elegant willow trees that hang gently over the estate. There is also plenty of birdlife to keep ornithologists or general bird enthusiasts excited. Waterland is surrounded by the majestic Table Mountain range and adjoins the Orangekloof Nature Reserve which provides spectacular views from its slopes. Accomodation is equipped with essentials including your own kitchenette, private entrance, patio and braai (barbaque) area. Take a stroll outside and tread in the cool, fresh garden and you'll be greeted by our friendly geese who love welcoming visitors to their pond. Enjoy a delicious morning meal in the conservatory overlooking the sparkling pool and garden area when choosing the bed and breakfast option, or make use of the fully equipped chalets through self-catering. Accommodation | | At Waterland Lodge accommodation is in modernised, Cape Cottages situated on 2.5 acres of park-like gardens on the banks of the Disa River, only 20 minutes from the City and Cape Town's popular Waterfront. All the chalets are fully equipped for self-catering and each has its own garden and barbecue. Enjoy the tranquil setting and view the abundant birdlife on the banks of the Disa River. Sumptuous breakfasts are served in the Conservatory overlooking the large swimming pool and gardens. Each Chalet has a colour Television set. Accommodation is either in rooms in the main building or in separate, Farm Style Cottages, away from Main Building. Self-catering Accommodation is in the fully equipped cottages. For those who prefer, Bed & Breakfast Accommodation is in the Conservatory. Breakfast is served daily in the conservatory. |

DAISY COTTAGE: The main cottage has 1 upstairs bedroom with a double bed. A spacious open-plan lounge / dining room / full kitchen. The bathroom has a bath and an overhead shower. There is a 2nd bedroom, DAISY SUITE, with twin beds and an en-suite shower with a separate entrance opening onto a central patio, but attached to the main cottage. It has it's own TV and fridge so can be let separately or as part of the main cottage.ROSE COTTAGE: The main cottage has 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms (main-en-suite). The main bedroom has a double bed and the other has 2 single beds. There is a 3rd bedroom, ROSE SUITE with a double bed. Open-plan lounge / dining room / full kitchen. There is a 3rd bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom (shower) - it is attached to the main cottage but has a separate entrance for extra privacy. Suitable for up to 6 persons. WILLOW COTTAGE: Willow Cottage has a bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower. Separate small lounge, Kitchenette with mini-stove, private patio & Barbecue. This cottage is suitable for 2 people. Ample space for an additional mattress to be added for children. ACORN COTTAGE: Acorn Cottage has a small open-plan lounge / en-suite bedroom (shower) with double bed. Kitchenette with mini-stove, private patio & barbecue. This cottage is suitable for 2 people. THE DISA SUITE: Overlooking the beautiful goose pond. A large en-suite bedroom with twin beds.
