Broadlands four-star Country House is an owner managed beautifully renovated colonial style farmhouse that is both authentic and unique. The welcoming scent of orange blossoms greets our guests on entering our tree lined orchard avenue. Our bed and breakfast offers guests accommodation in four spacious en-suite rooms , exclusively centered in a unique African oasis, overlooking the lake, swimming pool and endless gardens. The Guest House is situated on a working citrus farm in the heart of the Sunday River Valley, bordering the (malaria free), internationally renowned Addo Elephant National Park, and several other world-class Game reserves in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The Addo Elephant National Park, with its core situated in the Sundays River Valley and stretching from the Karoo region north of the Zuurberg Mountain Range to the coast and islands of Algoa Bay of South Africa’s Eastern Cape Province, is the heartbeat of the GREATER ADDO ROUTE. This is the only park in the world that is home to “the Big Seven” including lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard, whale and even the Great White Shark. The park has over 400 elephants. Watching these gentle giants in the wild is an experience not to be missed! We will assist guests in booking all Game drives, Safaris and activities. Accommodation Broadlands Country House offers four spacious and stylishly decorated en-suite rooms, each with their own private entrance from the patio. Each room offers tea and coffee making facilities, bath robes, safes and 100% percale linen with authentic down pillows. The undercover barbeque area, with a deck onto the dam, offers guests an opportunity to enjoy sundowners and a traditional South African braai (barbeque). A fully stocked honesty bar and digital satellite television is available to all guests.

Schotia "Tooth and Claw" Safaris:
Afternoon and Night drive 16h00 - 22h00
This is a four hour guided game drive in an open Land Rover, synonymous with Rhino, hippo, giraffe and especially Lion sightings! A short refreshment and toilet break is at the halfway point. Dinner is prepared over an open fire and then guests are whisked away for a final short night drive with spotlights before returning to Reception!
Addo morning trip and Tooth & Claw Safari (Full day package):

The morning starts at the Addo Elephant Park where the tour concentrates on finding and viewing Elephants. Experienced tour guides will give one an insight into the private life of Elephants! Here, Buffalo sightings are a bonus. Lunch and Drinks are included. The tour will then commence to Schotia Safaris where they will be treated to another game drive! (Tooth and Claw Safari - see above)
